You may find it advisable to have financing available for your new home before taking this class. Our other e-courses, if taken first, can help you to get the money you need. On the other hand, this class can certainly help you determine how much money you will need to build your custom home, then you can proceed with the other classes to obtain what you need.

Each lesson provides another step in the process. At the end of the 8-week course you will be ready to take a set of detailed floor plans you've designed to a local custom home builder you have researched who will then be able to build your new custom home for you. The following is a nominal outline of the class, but will likely vary, depending on the individual students' experience and expertise.

Week 1 - decide on your preliminary budget, and find a building site to match your personal feng shui.

Week 2 - lay out the bagua for your home.

Week 3 - use Visio to start the design.

Week 4 - research a builder and estimate your costs.

Week 5 - add detail to your home design.

Week 6 - learn negotiating practices to reduce your costs and get what you need.

Week 7 - develop questions to ask your builder.

Week 8 - complete your design and refine your cost estimate.

Cost for this course will be a tuition of $1500.00 and some other minor expenses.
